Pledge of Allegiance

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

It was worth saying again!

Red Skelton

On January 14, 1969 Red Skelton on his television show “The Red Skelton Show” did a rendition of the Pledge of Allegiance.  Please take the time to watch this.  For the younger audience, they do not make shows like this anymore.  You can see the progression of liberalism and the tearing down of America’s values as you return to the 1950’s and 1960’s programming.  At the end of every show Red Skelton would end with the words “Good night, and may God Bless.”

We will not see shows of this caliber if the Hollywood crowd and the anything goes crowd have their way.  A minority voice of the country that wishes through their agenda to push the activist judges to enact on their behalf.  It is not the way God would have this country to go forward.  Should we forget the innocence of these types of shows of the 50’s and 60’s?  The money and power out there of the radical left is to shut down the Christian voice and make this country anything but what our forefathers envisioned for this great land.  Something much different than what God wants for this country.

I encourage you to watch this video and at the end of it is a prophetic comment by Red Skelton that has come true, maybe God was with him!

For those that may not know, the audio is of John Wayne’s Pledge of Allegiance.
