Canada is a land of great natural beauty, and Canadians identify with the vastness of the country and the splendor of its landscapes. The second largest country in the world with an area of 9.9 million square kilometres, Canada borders three oceans: the Atlantic, the Pacific and the Arctic. Majestic mountains, rolling hills, golden prairies, Arctic tundra, millions of lakes and rivers, rugged coast and sandy beaches are some of the landscapes that make up the country. In most areas of Canada, four distinctive seasons make nature change colors from green to flamboyant red and ochre, followed by white snow. Visiting a place at various times in the year can be a whole new experience

In Canada there are two official languages, English and French, and over 100 other non-official languages.

Gordon Sinclair was a colorful figure in 20th-century Canadian radio journalism. For over 40 years he produced a daily radio series called "Let's Be Personal;" he gained a reputation for "telling it like it is" and became a familiar figure to millions of listeners. Sinclair is especially remembered for a broadcast he made praising the United States on June 5, 1973. Below is a video he did after the radio broadcast was given such acclaim in Canada and the United States of America.

As an American I consider Canada an ally of America and am proud of our friends to the North of us.
